  These comments relate purely to the Dr receptionist, who must think she is far superior. Absolutely perthic customer service rude and arrogant when you can actually get them to answer the phone which is practically never
  
  The Dr himself is quiet good, and knowledgeable.

  Never answers phone. Need to contact him urgently but only had answering machine with NO OPTION to leave a voice message. Totally unsatisfactory.

  Be aware .. my first visit to his rooms after hospitalisation and Cassim being my admitting doctor and visiting me for 5 days in hospital.... found me at the reception desk... handing over my paperwork (referral etc.) and seeing that the waiting room was rather full (my appt. 5.0pm) and with my driver waiting outside, asked a simple question as to did she know approximately the time frame of the visit so that I could inform my driver as to if he wished to wait or return later.... ( a simple request as I saw it)
  
  Then the receptionist responded with a barrage of nasty remarks as my having no rights to ask any questions and stated that one should just wait as long as it takes..... etc. and then abruptly threw my paperwork back at me and when asked "why are you treating me in this way" , stormed out of the room as saying "I am not speaking to you" .... leaving me in shock and no other avenue as to leave the room....
  
  So waiting for three weeks for this consultation thus became not only a waste of my time, but also a huge traumatic experience.... with further medical consequences ....
  
  VISIT THIS PRACTICE AT YOUR OWN PERIL.....

  I note the previous 2 reviews are years old. But sadly, I can confirm that nothing has improved in terms of this doctor's surgery. On 20/9 my GP's office faxed a referral to Dr Cassim's surgery (you still cannot speak to a human being when you ring the surgery - you receive a voicemail message telling you to fax a referral, following which you will receive a call back with an appointment time).
  I had been hospitalised with Covid-19 & was to see Dr Cassim a month after discharge for a follow up. Luckily I recovered with the ongoing help of my GP because if my life had depended on a timely response from Dr Cassim, I wouldn't be here to post this review. I finally got a call from his office today 2/11 to organise an appointment - Six weeks after the fax was sent - wow, that has to be the worst patient care response I have ever experienced.
